All In: Shorewood Girls Cross Country - Photographs by Lois Bielefeld  is a 2017 exhibit at the Charles Allis Art Museum which says: "Though Bielefeld is known for her portraiture, this new series takes that interest a step further. "And Something Magical Happened" - Baseball Photographs by Walter Iooss is a 2020 exhibit at the Michael C. Carlos Museum, Emory University which says: "Athletes have provided Iooss with a provocative and enduring body of work; from his early photographs of Hank Aaron gracing the diamond, to his portfolios of Michael Jordan both on the court and at home, to portraits of golf prodigy Jordan Spieth, basketball all-star LeBron James, and baseball legend Derek Jeter."   Also see website for photographer. Fenway Park: A 100th Anniversary Celebration is a 2012 exhibit at the Griffin Museum of Photography which says: "Fenway Park includes historical as well as contemporary photographs and ephemera related to the building, the neighborhood, and the people." Accessed 12/18

Game Time: The Sports Photography of Walter Iooss is a 2017 exhibit at the Colby College Museum of Art which says: "From baselines and sidelines, courtsides and ringsides, Walter Iooss (b. 1943) has captured the angles and action of sports for more than fifty years."  Also see artist's website  Accessed 1/18

Hot Can Be Cool: Jazz Portraits by Herman Leonard is a 2018 exhibit at the Huntington Museum of Art which says: "His work is a catalog of an era, when jazz reigned supreme in both America and Europe. His unique ability to capture the electric atmosphere of the performances and the engaging personalities of the musicians is unparalleled." Accessed 8/18

Jason Evans, Boys of Summer: A Season with the Newport Gulls is a 2017 exhibit at the Newport Art Museum which says: "Jason Evans does not just make sports photographs. Rather he captures the feelings and unique, and beautiful, aspects of baseball."  Accessed 6/17

Separate and Unequaled: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Negro League is a 2020 exhibit at the Susquehanna Art Museum which says: "The 100th anniversary of the formation of the Negro National Baseball League is especially important to Harrisburg thanks to the proud history of the Harrisburg Giants. The Giants joined the Eastern Colored League in 1924 with Hall of Fame center fielder Oscar Charleston as playing manager. They played with the Eastern League through 1927."  Accessed 8/20

Who Shot Sports: A Photographic History from 1843 to the Present is a 2017 exhibit, organized by the  Brooklyn Museum, at the Allentown Art Museum  which says: "As the exhibition demonstrates, the finest sports photographers, their skills honed from years of practice, are capable of capturing a fleeting moment and making it memorable, often from a surprising or revealing point of view. Driven to freeze action and portray what the naked eye alone cannot see, sports photographers have played a leading role in the evolution of camera and film technology."
