By Design: Theater and Fashion in the Photography of Lalla Essaydi is a 2021 exhibit at the Fairfield University Art Museum which says: "This exhibition provides a unique opportunity to appreciate Essaydi's Moroccan-inspired fashion sense and unique theatrical skills. The works, some of which are very large scale, will be presented in the museum's Walsh Gallery, and will be accompanied by a full array of complementary programming." Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography, 1911-2011 is a 2018 exhibit at the Getty (J. Paul) Museum which says: "Beginning with 1911-the year Edward Steichen created the first "artistic" fashion photographs-and ending with 2011 with digital technology as a dominant paradigm, this exhibition surveys the rich and varied history of modern fashion photography." Star Power: Edward Steichen's Glamour Photography is a 2018 exhibit at the Flagler Museum which says: "Throughout his fifteen years at the magazines Steichen produced some of the most striking creations of twentieth-century photography, showcasing the culture of that era and its most prominent stars from the realms of literature, journalism, dance, sport, politics, theatre, and film."
