Regional African American Artists
February 13 - March: 26, 2000
Keith Newby, Billy Danzy, Alonzo Johnson, Howard Hill, Charles Lester,
Thomas Colvin, III, and Stephanie Pennywell exhibit a sampling of their
recent works at Wiregrass Museum of Art. These artpieces depict African
American tradition and Wiregrass regional flavor. Watercolors, oils, acrylics,
photographs and drawings are sure to please even the most discerning eye.

Keith Newby relates, "...this is a joy, helping to
put together this collection of work, that is seen for the first time at
the Wiregrass Museum of Art.I encourage everyone to come visit the exhibit,
