Kennedy Museum of Art
Selections from the Contemporary Print Collection
The Kennedy Museum of Art announces
the opening of "Selections from the Contemporary Print Collection,"
opening on November 13, 1999 and remaining on display through February 6, 2000.
"Selections from the Contemporary Print Collection" is an exhibition
comprised of pieces produced by various artists between 1923 and 1991. In
other news from the museum, a new educational gallery opened in late October.
The "Educational Gallery" will host a selection from the museum's
permanent collection of Native American jewelry and weavings donated by
Edwin and Ruth Kennedy. The gallery is an ongoing project in conjunction
with local schools which provides a model for curriculum based programming
at the museum. (left: James McGarrel, Bianca and Blackie,1980,
