Figures and Forms: Selections from the Terra Foundatian for the Arts
More than 75 works of art contrasting
the human body, architectural structures, and still life
forms
will be featured in an exhibition, "Figures and Forms: Selections from
the Terra Foundatian for the Arts," scheduled to open at Terra Museum
of American Art, 664 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, on Thursday, May 11,
2000 and continuing through Sunday, July 9, 2000. (right: Arnold

The
exhibition consists of works focused on the concept of "form"
through the eyes of 19th and 20th-century American artists such as James
Abbott McNeill Whistler, Robert Henri and Charles Sheeler, among others.
