Recent GMOA Acquisitions of American Works on Paper
August 29 - October 29, 2000
This exhibition of works on paper that the museum has acquired between
1996 and 2000 includes drawings, prints, and watercolors by artists such
as Leon Kroll, Andrée Ruellan, Leonard Baskin, Howard Cook, Reginald
Marsh, and John Sloan. The subjects depicted range from Baskin's Death
Mask of Adolf Menzel to John Marin's Port du Canal. (left:

The exhibition features 27 of the most notable additions to the museum's collection of works on paper. The Georgia Museum of Art has long held a reputation as having one of the finest collections of works on paper in the Southeast.
