CONCLUSION
TFAO encourages museums to test the applicability of Web lectures to enhance and extend the educational outreach component of their mission.
Both institutional and commercial organizers of touring exhibitions should also consider the benefits of creating Web lectures as a part of the exhibit rental package. These lectures can be prepared in advance of the tour. They can be previewed with prospective venues to model how the lectures will be presented live. The lecturer and the organizer can use the Web lecture as a means to agree on the content of the upcoming series of live lectures. The recording may be further used as an explanatory exhibit to the lecturer's contract with the organizer.
