TFAO Financial Assistance: Letter of Inquiry

TFAO seeks to assist art museums and cultural centers in furthering education in American American representational art.

The first step in securing a grant is to submit a letter of inquiry by email to determine eligibility. The letter (maximum two pages) should include the following:

1. a brief description of the project and of the educational benefits to be realized;

2. findings of a self-assessment if the proposed grant is for production and streaming of online audio, illustrated audio and video for educational programming or certain other programs;

3. qualifications of the personnel who will be involved in the project;

4. a rough estimate of the amount of financial support to be requested from TFAO; and

5. information on the tax-exempt status of the organization.

TFAO will acknowledge receipt of letters. If the project is eligible for consideration, TFAO will contact the museum within four weeks for discussion of further steps leading to a grant.
