Collection highlights include important paintings by members of the famous Taos Society of Artists; the complete portfolio of engravings by Karl Bodmer (ca. 1840) illustrating the Travels in the Interior of North America; and a prominent selection of hand-colored engravings by John J. and John W. Audubon.

The Art Museum's galleries are open free of charge Tuesday through Sunday. The Museum of the Southwest is located at 1705 West Missouri, Midland, Texas 79701
