Qualities of Light: Photographs from the Permanent Collection

While this new installation of collection photographs includes popular West Coast photographers like Edward Weston, Brett Weston, Ansel Adams, and Morley Baer, this particular selection is intended to give viewers a glimpse of the broad scope of the holdings at the Monterey Museum of Art, Civic Center location, 559 Pacific Street.

Portraits, landscapes, and abstracts in a variety of different styles by artists such as Aaron Siskind, Harry Callahan, Imogen Cunningham, and Gary Winogrand are included in this long-term exhibition opening April 25, 1998 in Gallery IV.
