Included in the Remington collections are his paintings, watercolors, drawings and sculpture depicting the vanished frontiers of the Old West. His painting Coming to the Rodeo (1893) depicts a scene Remington saw while he was living in Old Mexico for a short period of time.

The large, and nearly complete, sculpture collection includes some of the works in bronze for which he is best known, such as The Bronco Buster (1895).
